Choral Evensong
On Saturday evenings, the Service of Choral Evensong is celebrated in preparation for Sunday Eucharist. This traditional service of evening prayer dates back to the 16th century, and is based on the service from the Book of Common Prayer. It comprises scripture readings and prayers, sung Canticles (the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis), anthems, Anglican chanted Psalms, and prayers.
