Welcome
The Church of the Transfiguration stands at the heart of the Community of Jesus. Dedicated in June 2000, the church is primarily a house of prayer: a building that houses the worship of God in Eucharist, Liturgy of the Hours (sung in Gregorian chant), and private devotion.
The church’s design is drawn from an architectural heritage shared by all Christians, and its shape reflects the Community’s monastic tradition and ecumenical vision. As a permanent testimony to the love and faithfulness of God, the Church of the Transfiguration visually proclaims God’s word with truth, beauty and dignity.
